Yep, can relate. Sometimes I wonder if I’m invisible or something. Even with visibility corners (or whatever that is called), a pedestrian is expected to look for the car approaching, instead of other way around.

Most annoying is when the driver is looking for upcoming vehicles when turning and completely ignores pedestrians crossing the road

That’s a bit dull for conspiracy, may I suggest alien worm, like in Men in Black? Every time they announce that’s the train is delayed because someone is walking on tracks, we can assume that some exhausted Path employee is trying to negote with Jeff the 600 foot worm.

No, that’s the problem!

Most Progressives run on very reasonable and sustainable platform that includes most venerable populations but then a flaming clown attaches himself to the cause and starts flinging poop around on twitter.

Please at least consider looking into other progressive candidates’ platforms before you write them off as bunch of bozos.

They are a private citizen and have as much right to be on here and on twitter as you and me, with all their dumbassery. Hector, on the other hand, is still associated by many with a Progressive cause and retweeting that dumbassey hurts the cause, which I don’t appreciate.

Now anyone that benefits from housing deregulation can screengrab this flaming pile of opinion and convince the undecided that Progressives are a bunch of militant ultra-leftists (not sure if that’s a right term) that try to set NJ on fire.

I personally know a lot of people that will be turned off from the Progressive cause, with all the good things that might come off it, if they think that this is what the movement is about.

By all means. Everyone should be involved more. But your retweets are harmful to the cause. T#### is a private citizen and can say whatever the f they want. People still associate you with the Progressive movement and you make it look like a s**t flinging contest.

Love, voting taxpayer

So you’re saying you don’t have any plans for 2024? Good. Elena is a decent candidate, affiliation with you doesn’t do her any favors. Having said that, I generally agree with your position. I just don’t think you can pull off any changes for Jersey community.

Also: if you don’t have any plans to run in the future, why don’t you change your Twitter info to “Private citizen who is totally entitled to his opinion that will not affect NJ politics”? Your failed 2020 campaign website is still featured there.

This person is a mental health counselor… o.O

Hector Oseguera is a spineless populist and will say anything he thinks might get him votes, but will just as easily abandon his earlier statement if he’d feel that would work for him better.

I’m actually only using plastic metrocard for Path. I can tap on every MTA station (that I’ve been to) but Hoboken Path station doesn’t have the tappy thingie, which is incredibly frustrating because it occasionally eats fares off my card

There’s not a whole lot to that article:

> I’m new to living in Hudson County, but I must say I’m impressed by the well-greased machine of sleaze they have built here in Jersey City after attending my first meeting of the city council on Wednesday.

> It came one day after Councilwoman Amy DeGise, part of the political royal family here, was found guilty of smashing her SUV into a bicyclist who had passed a red light in July, sending him careening off her windshield and flipping through the air, and fleeing the scene. A video shows that she didn’t even tap the brakes to see if the guy was bleeding from his ears. She sped away while he was still on the ground.

And a CCTV photo just before the collision.

More of a water cooler musing than an article, really

I take my cat to Blue Pearl in Paramus, not sure about the dogs but heard mostly good reviews from the cat parents. It’s pretty expensive but cats need to get full anesthesia for the proper dental cleaning. My poor boi has juvenile gingivitis and his gums and teeth look a lot better after 2 cleanings, a year apart

Last time I was at the community meeting, Fulop said that the city is very short-staffed, which is why they didn’t get to whatever the community wanted. It was a few months ago but I guess you can try to apply. It was a few months ago. He did say that the turn-over of the staff is pretty high, which most likely means they pay peanuts and you’d have to deal with the bunch of us.

Heights. Weekend/off-peak bus service is infuriating. All the transit apps are pretty unreliable (I guess they all get data from the same source). When 119 gets to Palisades during the rush hour it’s pretty packed (going into the city), and are not spaced evenly.

We had so many community meetings about the public transit already through the years and nothing changed. Every time community starts to complain more than usual, city hires advisors which present a keynote with a list of problems, and that’s the end of that. That’s frustrating.

Since this is the second post in a row I’m seeing about traffic/public transport, I’m guessing city is planning to throw more of our tax money at some “studies” again.
