I'm there if it gets out of hand, and I would say that not to do it, but I wouldn't stop it. A couple reasons: Fire is hot and shouldn't be touched, and a moment of discomfort will teach that lesson It helps demonstrate that I say "No" for a reason My goal as a teacher is to have my advice/lesson be applied in the moments when I'm not there to reinforce them.
