it is absolutely a stupid naming scheme

the bronco sport is not a "sport" trim of the bronco. they really are completely different vehicles.

here is what they look like

the bronco sport is a family oriented unibody SUV with a tiny 3-cylinder 1.5L engine and the bronco is an off-terrain body-on-frame vehicle with a much larger engine.

brain drain was true >20 years ago, not really today. while authoritarianism contributes to a little, much of it is actually from poor economic conditions. now that china is consistently getting richer, this is becoming less the case. this is also happening to other south east asian as well.
