The Muslims Arab invaders used to hold the temple hostage by threatening to demolish the sun temple if any neighboring Hindu rulers attacked them. At one point, it provided over 30 % of their state revenue. They also mockingly hung cow flesh in the temple to show Hindus that they were to be conquered in all ways possible.

If you think Putin is going to listen to Modi on anything less than Crimea or even Donetsk, then you are mistaken. India is not interested in Ukraine. They are interested in the post war Russia. They are as opportunistic with Russia as they are with the West. The only difference is that Western narrative doesn’t try to shame India into choosing a side.
