It would never happen but, in cases like this where the company wilfully denies something the customer is entitled too, they should automatically be fined a ridiculously high, punitive, fine. That way, just maybe they would learn not to pull this kind of shit on people in the hope they'll roll over and accept.

I (M58) and I'll have stopped smoking 3 years ago in the summer after 40 years of 20ish a day habit. I do still use nic salt vapes.
Does the effect\damage of smoking stay with me (and my lungs) for life?

>I had an LED light fixture installed in my upstairs hallway that worked without issue for a year and a half, before it started flickering beyond use the past week.
Chances are that the electronics are going bad in the fixture if it's flickering badly. Can also show as a repeating on/off cycle.
> I bought 2 new switches and tried both of them. When the new switches were installed, the light would not work at all, not even a flicker. With the old switch installed, I still get the flicker.
Have another look at the connections on the new switches - if they didn't work at all chances are that you messed the connections up rather than a fault in both.
It's possible that you are getting voltage fluctuations because of old wiring but I'd check the above 2 things first.

Reply to Why do people pay 30k just to eat from this guys restaurant? This has to stop. by Dizzy13337
Most people are missing the point - it's not the food, the person or the restaurant, it's the exclusivity that they are paying for.
Whether that is stupid or not is up to the observer but they get what they want, away from the 'plebs', at a price they can afford to pay.
Would I go? Never in a million years but it's their cash, their choice.

I'll respond as I'm one of the top level commentators - it was nothing more than a jokey reference, no snark involved (well, except to Theranos), to the fact that we'd been here before with claims like this and it didn't end well. I was also, obviously not alone in making that connection.
Life doesn't always have to be serious!

Buy the scaffolding you need, use it for as long as you need it then sell it to recoup some of the cost - will be cheaper than renting etc over a 2 year period and you aren't limited to a time frame.
