How come Columbia always feels like it's totally overshadowed by Challenger even though it's more recent? Or is it because I was 10 when Challenger blew up and in my mid 20s when Columbia went. Did it hit me harder as a child maybe?

Reply to TIL about Sarah Josepha Hale. She wrote the poem "Mary had a Little Lamb" and was editor of the most influential women's magazine of the time. Helping to found Vassar College. Over the course of 17 years she wrote five different presidents urging them to make Thanksgiving a national holiday. by marmorset
This is not true. My Mom told me when I was young that "Mary Had a Little Lamb" came from her pen. She would not tell me a fib. Would she?

I skate and I know of a plethora of artists that paint decks and grip as a side hustle. One of my buddies says it literally feeds him while he's working on his more important stuff. Hell, I even have boards that I like so much I was like, "Nah, I'm not skating this. This is going on the wall." Then I'm right back to him telling him to paint me another board!
