While the gas tax is $0.49, that has been the rate since 2016.

You have to show them your old license which waives any testing from Washington. Then they hole punch the old license and give it back to you.

I usually try to avoid driving in rush hour but I don’t view it as a problem. People gotta eat.

Why, because people have to get home from work? How is that a problem???

Reply to To afraid to ask: would a $170k down payment be able to afford me a house in Western Washington? by PopNo5397
First time home buyers can buy a home with as little as 3.5% down. $170,000 down payment would be more than enough.

Ehhh, while I would never dissuade someone from getting a degree but perhaps look at a more marketable skil as your major. Like business or communications.

Was about $10,000 all in to move from CA to WA in Spring 2022. I didn't factor in new furniture, then it's about $14,000.

I can tell from experience that to move a 1 bedroom apartment from CA to WA in Spring of 2022 cost $7,500, just for the movers and the truck. Not to mention the 1st and last month rent, getting out of my old lease, and other moving related expenses. Overall it was at least $10,000. If you factor in new furniture and household items it was about $14,000.

Unless you're corporate, no retail chain will pay to relocate you. Do you have a degree?

Entry level and paid relocation are going to be tough to find in this economy. Especially with work from home. What industry are you in?

Reply to SR-14 road conditions? since i84 is closed I was wondering if anyone in here has taken sr14 today so I can figure out my route driving east. Thanks by RS4_12
I drove SR 14 east from the I82 interchange to 164th street in Vancouver in November after an ice storm in the Columbia Plateau . At several points driving over smaller bridges I nearly lost control of my car due to black ice. 10 out of 10 would never recommend. Do yourself a favor and stay put.
