Top floor of one of those closer to Olney, with a good view facing the downtown and the lit-up State House. But only if money were no object.

PD Autobody in Olneyville. Very honest, and has kept my old car operational.

I’m so excited! The rumor was that a donut shop was going in here. Donuts are ok but I think Providence has enough of them. This looks great.

Good point! I have been shopping at the TJ's in Cranston (too much) and a lot of it is very processed food, particularly the frozen dinners. But certain things they sell, such as olives, cheeses, and salsas, are quite good and relatively inexpensive.

John Goncalves, the ward 1 city councilor, sent out an email with his thoughts and reasoning behind his recommendations. I am in a nearby ward, but subscribe to his emails.

They should dedicate some streets to resident-only parking if it's an issue. I probably won't shop there because I have a car and it's almost easier to drive to Cranston or Foxborough, but if I did, I'd park a distance away, like on Hope Street, and walk over. Personally, I'm comfortable on highways but not so much in crowded urban areas, so that's usually my strategy.

I ride the PVD-Boston line every.single.day. It really isn’t bad though. The trains that leave at 7:15am or 7:40 from PVD are ok as you’ll get a nice seat. Pro tip: choose a three seater as you will likely only have one person join you as the train fills up, with a space between you. Try for the top of a double level car for the best views.

Thank you! The Final Report from that page also has some fascinating history.

Thanks! I might try that. I have been studying the different cross streets such as Howland, Church and Star to figure out their grades. I think they must range from "impossible" to "forgetaboutit"!

It is the part of N. Main that curves around and goes uphill to the Whole Foods shopping center that makes me hesitate to bicycle from the train station to my house. That entire stretch leading up to Olney is dangerous for cyclists or people on scooters. A redesign would be huge.

I was at the Starbucks in Seekonk (the one near their Best Buy), and they had free grounds. Also, I have a bunch, so if you pm me and are willing to pick up on the East Side you are welcome to them. Assuming they don't go bad.. mine have been sitting around for a few months.
