That is way easier said than done in some areas. Around Hampton and Glen Gardner there are quite a few houses and business that are on 31, as well as Spruce Run (river, not the reservoir) runs right next to it.

Induced demand is definitely a thing, but at some point with population growth you do need to add and expand roads and ideally add more public transportation.

Reply to New Jersey Lawmakers Send Governor Bill To Let Cannabis Businesses Claim State Tax Deductions As Partial 280E Workaround by OregonTripleBeam
Thank god some one is thinking of the cannabis oligopoly in this state.

The amendment they removed should tell you a lot.
>The version from Assembly member Annette Quijano (D) was previously amended in committee in that body, with members agreeing to remove an earlier provision that would’ve made it so only cannabis licensees with gross receipts less than $15 million would be eligible for state tax deductions.
This isn't about helping small cannabis business (have any of them even opened?) It's a way to give away the large companies that are government was kind enough to serve up to them on a silver platter. Every time I see news about the state of the industry in this state, I regret just a little more voting for legalization.

There's only 30 dispensaries, medical and recreational, in the state. Over 1,500 liquor stores and over 7,000 bars/restaurants. If there were only 30 places in the state to buy alcohol there would be a civil unrest and the hospitals would be full of alcoholics going through withdrawal.

They aren't the same job and require different skill sets and equipments. There's bound to be some overlap, but a paving company isn't going to be laying track. Just like a plumber isn't going to be wiring your house. They're both contractors, but for different jobs.

They aren't going to be all the same contractors and unions involved. Even if they were, the fact that it's 1/3 price is significant.

Even if it was all the same contractors, just being 1/3 the price is a huge difference and it's definitely not all the same contractors.

November isn't winter. We still have like another month until winter begins. Pretty sure 55 degree days are rare in January. Though I agree it doesn't get that cold here for that long.

I understand the idea and agree they are amusing. I still believe it is naive to think that you are going to convince someone to slow down, put on a seat belt, or stop using their phone while driving. Especially using the phone.
