I bought Sennheiser's Flex 5000, connects to the TV via optical then uses radio or 2.4ghz (can't remember) to a receiver which accepts any 3.5mm thing. Works great and has some gimmicks too.

You also have to have a home that's suitable for speakers too. It's a whole nother level of luxury IMO

You can take solace in the fact that they are sort of built to be very repairable, so disassembly should be easy.

I'm betting what happens is plain old volume mismatching. Even a slight bump in loudness can make something feel "more detailed" or "bassier."

SHOULD, but I doubt that the vast majority are even capable of buying Pantone color books and the associated subscriptions for the colors in programs.

They only need the "battery" for air gestures and a few other things. My Tab S7's pen is charged like once a month and it can still write.

Honestly from what I'm seeing basically every planar / high end planar brand has questionable QC. Maybe the monster you know is better than the one you don't? Aka at least you know what to expect with Hifiman.
