Because the vast majority of these are design-build, where the contractor is the chief stakeholder

Right, but you can say the same thing for high level grad research. Plus grad research gets funding.

Law students don’t do research that furthers their university. Grad students participate in research that often is funded by outside sources. They bring the university profit so they themselves should get their wage like any employee for doing so.

Ive lived nearby my whole life and DoorDashed in Burlington this summer. It was honestly shocking to see the noticeable increase in incidents from May to August. Kinda wild that I’m now in Boston and feel like it’s much safer here.

It was in Burlington, they’ll probably be released without bail and given a fresh set of needles for the road

The fines so small it’s not even profit. Make it a 5 figure fine and then you’ll see results

Youre definitely over an hour, especially when you factor in time from the interstate to wherever you’re going in/around Burlington. Probably plan on 75 minutes in perfect weather no traffic, and at least 90 if there’s snow

Just chiming in with whatever info I can, the Burlington metro area includes the entirety of Chittenden county and beyond. I’m fairly certain all of Franklin and Grand Isle counties are included in it. Beyond those, lots of people live in Lamoille, Washington, and Addison counties and work in Burlington/Chittenden County.
Chittenden is where the jobs are, but it’s also where the affordable housing isn’t. I’m almost certain you can’t find what you’re looking for in Chittenden county. But you may be able to if you expand the search to whatever you consider an acceptable driving time and distance from Burlington. Granted I still don’t really think it’s likely to find something, but it’s less impossible at least.
Best of luck and hoping you find what you’re looking for and something that meets your needs.
