These words aren’t of Spanish origin, it’s factually wrong. Many languages borrow from other languages, including a majority of English words, but you would say that the words have an origin in English.

You being threatened by acknowledging those words are actually of native origin is racially/culturally insensitive. You’re being defensive about word origins having native roots and not acknowledging it when you’re trying to promote those words being used in a third language.

Tell them their aren’t many EV minivans. People in Cambridge are wealthy, many can afford EV and the infrastructure to install them. I suspect your cousin thinks of Cambridge as being all apartments and not condos and single homes. Do people in Cambridge all have solar panels, probably less likely but the overall wealth in Cambridge, while not evenly distributed, is still very high.

You need to post where it was found and the type of item. Let people tell you the detail (color, size sort of thing). “Did you lose something in Cambridge” is too vague. If you don’t feel comfortable describing the basics,

Write to the city parking office and they’ll usually allow you to use it for longer if you notify them and it is a one-time visit sort of thing. Also move it every few day and don’t park on busy streets or near landmarks (colleges). The sides streets are less busy and patrolled. Also don’t park on the end of the street, park in the middle so they won’t see and out of state license plate and investigate.

Village Kitchen on Huron- pasta and pizza are similar to what you get around Naples. It’s also a hole in the wall and very charming place. Half the price of Guilias, Pammy’s, or Sulmona.

$85k is manageable. There some apartment that cover heat and under $2400/month.

Roommate or two and you’ll save a lot of money/pay off debt faster. Its better to have a roommate for a year or two then go out on your own.

Our City Realty in Somerville has reasonable apartments.

$85k isn’t entry level. It’s roughly the city’s AMI in one of the wealthier cities in the country. It’s just your first job after college and you’re well compensated.

I’d move in May/June. I’ve been here for decades and seen people move and stay and move and leave.

Many who move in the winter stay until their classes finish and move. September is when most leases are up (like 90%), but you can get summer deals and have a great summer near the ocean. They even block off a major road along the river on weekends and as a good side effect of the last few years, we have more outdoor food options. There are great bike paths and it is a fairly safe city. There was a TikTok is saw recently of a women commenting on seeing women out at night walking alone. It surprised me that walking around at 8pm in many cities alone isn’t safe.
