I'm no lover of religion but "begging for things" is a gross misrepresentation of prayer. Lots of prayer is focused on the simple act of communing with a deity, without asking or having any expectation of getting anything in return.
There are plenty of valid criticisms we can level at organized religion or Christianity in particular. "Prayer is begging" isn't one of them

In name maybe, but many of them pretty blatantly drop the pretense of democratic control otherwise. Like "we're dissolving parliament and making my emergency powers permanent by law" blatant

3x the price of a flagship iPhone for a headset most people will use 1% the amount they use their phone, if that? How many of those people do you think there are?
Most won't even spend $400 on a watch they would wear every day. Even among fanboys, even with the Apple marketing machine standing behind this, the demand for a "mixed-reality" headset is not there at $3k
