Although the average certainly isn’t two, it only slightly less than two (1.99ish*). If we’re rounding to the nearest whole number, it’s definitely going to be two.

I… have a 90 pound dog, and one of the most common reactions we get out and about is, “Goddamn that’s a big dog!” I’m 6’2” and he can lick my nose without his back feet leaving the ground. A dog that’s 66% bigger would be huge.
