I'm gonna enjoy it thoroughly but I've seen enough in the demo to know that it won't be nearly as good as BOTW

you're misunderstanding the term "soulslike", that refers to games that follow similar mechanics to FromSoftware games...
my choice for a new player is always Bloodborne
for a "soulslike" the only one I enjoyed was Nioh, the second one to be exact but the first wasn't bad

I totally agree with top comment about it not being the pioneer but I didn't see anything wrong with yours

no idea why this is heavily down voted, but it's reddit after all

Xenoblade is probably up there, one of those games I wanted to play but the UI along with how it plays just doesn't interest me....other than that I have no interest in almost all MMOs for the same reason, also used to play some YuGiOh back in the day and I recently downloaded their latest game and found out there's a whole bunch of new mechanics added that's very overwhelming

Reply to Time for PS honesty vs. MY pc by zheronhine09
this whole post is a mess I can barely understand what you are trying to convey, you don't seem like an avid PC enthusiast so just get a PS5 ?
PS4 is still valid for budget / availability reasons
anyways if you ARE gonna get a new PC please do yourself a favor and don't buy "pre-built" for many reasons, if you can put together a simple direct post asking what PC parts to buy given a certain budget then go ahead r/buildapc

believe it or not you're gonna be needing a mathematician, some algorithms go into the formula
pretty sure some "googling" on a specific game's wiki will lead you to understand basics, me no bueno with numbers anyways but I've seen algos used in almost every RPG I played....and I played a lot 😳

well I'm assuming you already played DS games / Bloodborne / Elden Ring
you can dip your toes in Sekiro but I found it too much for me, kinda killed the internet but a lot of people enjoyed it
the only "soulsborne" game I enjoyed outside of FromSoftware was Nioh 2, lost interest in the 1st one a couple of hours in but still worth a shot if you want to check it out....the second one was just better in every way, for me anyway
