I doubt it. I feel like most instances of school shootings would have people calling from cell phones though, right? I’d sure as shit be hiding somewhere with my cell phone, not using a landline in a classroom.

There 100% needs to be a texting system nationwide. Having someone in a dangerous situation TALKING on a phone with the other person’s voice possibly coming through as well. And then the 911 operator calling back if disconnected?? What if the ringer isn’t on silent. Or it vibrates… That shit is not silent.

They’re trying to point out that now people can tip after delivery, which is good. But they’re also making a point that not putting any tip up front will cause drivers to not pick up their order to begin with. So tip up front, and tip extra if you’re pleased with your service.

Goofy that people are downvoting this. I used to deliver and passed on the orders that were obviously no tips. These downvoters should see how it works out to wait at a restaurant for 10 minutes and then drive 4 miles to their house, 4 miles back to the hub, and get paid $3 for their efforts.

I mean I guess if it was a problem, stricter rules would be in place? Kidnappings are usually done by family members and I bet the rest of the family knows immediately who did it if it happens. Doesn’t seem too difficult to track people down anymore with Amber alerts and all that. I feel like they’d immediately put out an alert to airlines, car rental places, etc and if the suspected kidnapper tried to book travel or check in at the airport, it would send up a red flag. Why did I just put so much thought into this??

I garden on a smallish balcony!! I have the biggest pots I could find. You can even use those big buckets with the handles like they have at Home Depot. Drill holes in the bottom if you need to. I have the best luck with tomatoes, beans, zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, and cucumbers.

Drivers don’t expect a percentage of your food bill. They don’t care what you’re ordering. They want money to cover their gas and make it worth their time.

If they’re picking up drinks, especially hot drinks, add a little extra. Some restaurants make them prepare the drinks if the machine is in the lobby, and drinks can make the physical delivery part more difficult. If you see they got to the restaurant right away and the restaurant is slow and making them wait, add a little extra. They’re missing out on orders waiting for your food.

Keep in mind that most drivers get a base pay of $2.75 per order.
