Reply to comment by RoughRhinos in Pro-tip - currently there are easily found amtrak one way fares to DC and NYC from 30th Street for $10 in April and May by RoughRhinos
It would need a lot more capacity to be able to get rid of dynamic pricing without every train being sold out well in advance. I don't know if there are any tunnel limitations but hopefully they can get double deckers on the NER at some point.

Neshaminy mall down to broad st and onto the bsl express tracks. El would also be extended up bustleton to the boulevard for a transfer

Yeah, the PATCO extension to the 40th st trolley portal isn't really worth it, but if it were extended all the way down woodland to Darby as an el, that would be good. I don't think anyone has seriously proposed the Darby el in 100 years, though.

It would have the same ridership increase for half the cost as KOP

Reply to Hot take: bus rapid transit on the boulevard would be better than a subway by avo_cado
Bus lanes and TSP is a good interim solution that they should've implemented years ago. It's a shit long term solution. The speed, capacity, and convenience of a subway far outweighs the benefits of B"R"T.
