Oh I’m sure there were some love taps. My car is already “citified” enough with various dents and scrapes from street parking. I was trying not to tear off my front bumper because I wouldn’t be able to get away with not getting that repaired.

It took me 15 mins to extract my car from it’s spot the other day due to a narrow street with bollards on both sides surrounded by close parkers.

No lie I got out of my car 3 times to check to make sure I wasn’t going to scrape the car in front of me. I swear it should be an Olympic event at this point lol.

It was a cool place. So sad it closed so abruptly. I think the plan is to reform/return elsewhere eventually. I know the female co-owner is a Moore School of Art alum. I’m curious what happened especially since they seemed to have weathered the pandemic ok. My favorite place in the area that seems to have a similar vibe (to me at least) is Moonshine on Moyamensing.

Try Compass RE 267-435-8015 and ask for Jennifer Nehila. She’s fantastic, super knowledgeable and friendly. She has been in the business 15 years and knows the city and suburbs well. We used her to purchase our first home and I believe she does rentals too. Good Luck! Can’t say much about Lansdowne personally as I live in the city.

Lmao. Did my husband just write this? He isn’t a fan while I enjoy them. I don’t have cable but I do have a Roku. I got the app for the channel showing the parade on my Roku however the parade won’t play on the Ipad, it will only play on the TV. It interrupted the Eagles game and I thought he was going to go ballistic. Lol. Can’t stop giggling.

I can honestly say this was the happiest year of my life until 2 weeks ago today when our family lost a member suddenly at the age of 59. It is especially tragic since his spouse lost her first husband 18 years ago to a heart attack at age 47. Life can really hand out the sucker punches sometimes. Not even sure how to feel about 2023 now.

I was amused how quickly word got out about it.

Everyone I chatted with this week knew of it. I didn’t go but the family I babysit for did and they ended up giving me a case. Free produce? Hell yeah!

I just thought I’d save ppl a trip if they were planning to go tomorrow.

Fresh guacamole for Phillies weekend!

Apply for it asap because you will save a ton of money on your property tax bill. This year they increased the Homeowners exemption from 45,0000 to 80,0000. Which means if you house is assessed by the city at 280,000 and you get approved for Homeowners exemption your house will only get taxed on
200,000 instead of 280,000 and that could save you several thousand dollars in property taxes you won’t have to pay.

As long as you apply by Dec 1st if you get approved you will get the tax savings for this year (2022).

DO IT! There is no negative here unless you don’t actually live in the house you own. If you rent it out to someone else then you won’t qualify for the Homestead Exemption. If you don’t apply you are essentially throwing away money.
