They’ll never sell you one outright anyway. If not the hardware, the software will totally be licensed. You’ll likely have to pay a subscription model. They’ll pocket a % of the perceived value of that 40% time you saved.

Not having an ergonomic desk seems like good reason not to go to the office and strong arm HR with working conditions retaliation. I can’t imagine having to work in some random hallway and developing carpal tunnel and back problems for such a stupid policy.

Taking weeks to think about investing life savings into housing: not overthinking, just thinking.
Taking hours to figure out what the absolute best TV show to pick: overthinking.

My psychologist calls this "effective" thoughts as in "effectiveness". It's the best way to think about it IMO.
Is the thought/sentiment (rumination in the case of overthinking) effective, aka is it productive and serves the current situation? The hard part is asking yourself that question at the right moment.

Reply to Report: Apple’s 2023 mixed reality headset to feature full-body FaceTime avatars and iOS-like interface by DarthBuzzard
At this point, does anyone really believe in VR anything?
What’s the point of this, why would you want to see someone’s avatar over their real face and expressions? It feels like it was hot buzzword in tech and now big tech are just too afraid to divest and lose face so they just keep moving forward a feature people will try once or twice for novelty and entirely forget about 2 week post launch..

Well, assuming his big ticket items are all paid off, it’s really not a bad amount of money.

Afaik Slack does not have VoIP in the sense that it’s not an actual SIP service. And if it does I’d love for someone to point to where in the documentation cause it could be really useful for different integrations (am programmer).
