Coincidentally, apple makes it super easy to recycle apple products with lithium batteries. Not talking trade in but like an old MacBook that you have hanging around that’s dead and not worth anything.

Terrible situation but at least the only fatality was the driver, who should’ve been paying attention and not the passenger or a firefighter just out doing their job.

Not a plane but occasionally helicopters will buzz 1WTC in NYC and it’s pretty nuts. They’ll be flying within what looks like 100’ and you can clearly everyone inside. Close enough to hear the windows shake. And not just once but for a few laps.
It’s always military (blackhawks) or coast guard (also blackhawks)

Don’t forget the alternative where they say we’re getting a class 3 kill storm and then we get an inch of snow.

Professional employment organizations. Think Justworks, ADP, etc where they handle payroll, health insurance, and other benefits for smaller companies who don’t do it themselves.

So glad I was signed up for NYSC under a PEO. When Covid hit, they paused it and handled everything about cancelling. Never had to deal with this nightmare.

Citibike is only really cost effective for annual membership riders who live here and tourists who want a cheap 45 minute bike ride.
Even at the new price, it’s ridiculously quick to get your moneys worth, especially if you use the bikes for out and back trips.

I got the 2nd booster and flu shot together. The result was the same as the first booster and flu shot in one go from last winter: a 12 hour migraine the following day that no amount of sleep, fluids, and Advil/Tylenol could solve.
Still felt it was worth it vs getting Covid or Flu.

I’m all for 4 day work weeks where it’s 32 hours. Fitting 40 hours into 4 days, while still better than 5 days, still kind of defeats the purpose.
