100% was the point. There were so many various depressing ends of characters/stories in that series. Def one of my fav all-time shows.

A lot of David Simon stuff does that. Generation Kill had a similar scene to end the miniseries. Excellent series, btw. If you liked The Wire, you should check it out.

I read somewhere he was only supposed to be in parts of season 1, but he was such a big hit with the fans, they kept him in the show. Mo is great.
