They don't know how long you've been here. You have to take it for a wsp inspection and then just go get in licensed... If they don't ask when you moved don't tell and if they do, tell them last week.

Sometimes you can see them wandering around Spokane.

Bounce to the east side of the state to Spokane. Life's a bit slower on this side. Much more affordable, still have access to a city. Can hit one of the smaller outlying towns and still have good access.
Also, sunnier days! And you get snow ❄️ if you're bout to have a little one, they'll love the snow.

Check tenant landlord rights... I got out of a lease without paying a fee because my new job was more than 20 miles away. This was like 10 years ago though so not sure if still a thing

You can be in nat parks year round... Getting there is the only obstacle for some if the more remote destinations

So you have the cascade range... West of the cascade range is more temperate, wetter and less snow in the low lands. Central WA is high desert and quite sunny and warm. NE Washington is forestry mountains and beautiful weather and outdoor recreation. Also snow is more likely in E. WA, hotter and dryer summers then W. WA

That's if you want to be close to Seattle, hop over the cascades and the prices drop drastically.
West side is great and all, and so is eastern WA.
