I 2nd this, you can do the drive and never have to leave the car for the views. You can also drive up cathedral ledge in north conway (would require walking a 100ft or so) or take the cog (doesnt run all the way to the top at this point) Just a note though all white mountain leaves have completely fallen at this point however this has the advantage of avoiding the swarms of people looking at leaves.

Yeah I had the same thing done. I was hired as full remote however hr listed me as working in the office in NY. I was able to get this switched and no longer pay NY income taxes as they have the same deal as MA.
