From the comments it seems like OP is the only one who’s had issues and everyone else seems happy with theirs. I’ve used ikea flatware as well and it definitely gets the job done at a much lower price, so probably a better value. I’m really happy with my liberty set tho and would 100% buy again, it somehow just feels more substantial and higher quality than my previous set

I got a set of the american industrial about 2 years ago and haven't had any issues with probably hundreds of dishwasher cycles at this point (heavy wash, heated dry).
Hopefully they're able to root cause and fix the problem quickly, sorry you've had to deal with it!

I used to work at google so I might be biased, but I think these were a pretty solid value, might be on sale for cheaper somewhere else.
