I’ll double check but I’m pretty sure it was. Before it broke the setting it was on heated the old coil.

I do have a multimeter. I checked the thermal fuse and it has continuity. I don’t know anything else to check. Those were the main search results.

I don’t see any control boards. It’s a pretty old dryer. There looks to be a block where several wires connect on the side of the motor. It’s hard to get to are there fuses there possibly.

Thanks. Checked those. It’s an attached double breaker. I did flip them off and back on to double check. No dice.
