The metro north is in the okay during the day area. After 8pm or so it gets sketchy. Not much to do locally without a car, but if you're working in the city I'm assuming you're playing in the city too. Most people here go to the big box stores and do fun things on the border lines or in the city. Parking is as bad as in Manhattan here as our corrupt city planning board has put up tons of buildings but has not added a single parking lot to accommodate the new people and cars in almost 20 years. Our meter maids are at the point where they are stealthing, walking around in plain clothes to avoid being harassed. they will literally scan your registration as you're pulling away from being double parked for a minute because you ran inside the store to grab something that you ordered online, and send you a ticket by mail.

So like a gold's gym type of place. There was a small one on s broadway near the karate school by mc donalds. Not sure if it's still there. Will keep my eyes open for a classic gym. Seems most places have adopted the planet fitness model of machines.

Dude our police don't even show up when you call them. When they show up three or four hours after an event happened they usually take little if any notes at all. They don't bother to report anything because it requires extra paperwork. Our mayor is the son of a former mob boss. Our politicians have rewritten the rule books so that they can now run indefinitely. Our police don't actually live in Yonkers. They use the addresses of their parents or grandparents who still live here. Italians make up 13% of the population but represent over 70% of the police. The politicians have literally bought off every single form of media so that no one can talk about the truth. Every politician that is currently running is in the pockets of the mayor. Yonkers is mostly safe during the day. At night time there are many neighborhoods that you shouldn't be outside in.

Only work contract hours. Do the bare minimum. Let them fire her. Tell her to cover her ass and use her personal email or Google docs to write everything down. Do not use any school software or email that she does not have control of. They will delete anything and everything that she writes in a system that they have control over.

Schomburg. They host little exhibits. Was donated by a realtor who lives on Buena Vista that was found in the attic of one of the houses they had bought to flip.

Our crimes are not reported officially. The same company that owns channel 12 News, owns our red light cameras, owns part of optimum/altice, owns the technology and computers in our school system, and is a major contributor to our Police departments.

All the illegal crap that cops do does not get reported at all. Internal affairs has been in Yonkers for over 25 years at this point and nothing gets done because they are stonewalled out. Some of the investigators happen to be related to spano and his father's Italian mob family.

There are tons of violence, robberies, stabbings, shootings. This hasn't been reported on since about 2010 because you can't gentrify an area if gentiles are afraid of moving in. The guy from Yonkers voice used to go in hard on all of that stuff but even he is being swayed.

We just had a lawsuit thrown out of the court system here where a certain lawyer, turned politician, who had his nephew killed to get him to fall in line under the mayor's grand scheme tried to reveal what was happening and it was tossed out.

The city's unofficial motto is Yonkers where nothing's on the level. Almost everything is run by someone connected to the spano mob family.

The politics here are that spano they son of a mob boss and all of the other Italian families have been running Yonkers since the eighties when they killed off the Polish mayor who had refused to give the Italians the city's contract for sanitation. Spano is about to break the law once again and make it so that he can run for a fourth term. A third one was illegal. Almost every city contract goes to somebody who is in bed with him. Local city and state regulators happen to be related to him or have connections with him or his father.

Half of the politicians that we currently have had members who are in the KKK. Museum in Manhattan has a plaque that was found in one of their meeting places in Yonkers with the names of very prominent families here who are still in politics who happen to still run the city
