You make a good point! As long as Darn Tough socks honors a lifetime guarantee on their socks, and assuming a similar amount of wear on socks, Darn Tough are a darn good deal.

I've had no problems with Danish Endurance socks. They're not the warmest of the warm, but I live in North Carolina so they're nice for colder winter days. Edit to add: they're relatively inexpensive but they're a blend with only 30% wool. I'm not sure if they quite match what you're looking for.

Mine broke around 5 years ago and it was very sad. Then I realized I had an Android phone with an SD card slot and it was no longer a problem.

I prefer paintings with something of substance as a subject. The modern artists who work with shape and color in the vein of Pollock and Mondrian make pretty pieces. I just don't prefer them.
