It takes time to recalibrate your taste buds.

Cut down, reducing the sugar each day by a small amount, aiming to give up after six weeks. After a few months you'll actually dislike adding sugar to your tea and coffee.

I drink coffee and tea without sugar. I can taste it if my wife stirs her sugary tea and then mine!

I've heard of people who've driven to a train station and parked, and come home, got off at a different station and reported the car stolen.. and then found it quite a few days later by chance.

Once, there was no standard at all for high speed charging. These phones proved it was possible and that people would pay for it.

Apple are taking an existing well-established standard and making a proprietary version specifically so they can screw their customers by having expensive charging cables.

See the difference?

This is just Samsung Dex with a big price tag.

A simple usb-c to hdmi adaptor will allow many Android smartphones to be used with a monitor or tv. Just use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

Some usb combo hubs, about $25, have hdmi. Just plug into an android and the phone screen will appear on a monitor or tv, then plug in a usb keyboard and mouse.

It's sad that a man of men by themselves who do more than glance at a child are automatically assumed to be paedophiles or kidnappers. Statistically, children are safer more than ever, because children are more likely to be listened to, and, paedos are more likely to be arrested and dealt with rather than moved on.

I think this can put women and children at greater risk.. for example during the height of the metoo movement, I would be careful not to travel in a lift/elevator alone with a woman I didn't know fairly well, to prevent her having any anxiety, or me being accused of anything. If I was leaving the office, I'd hang back if needed to avoid that situation. That meant the woman wouldn't have someone around who might deter a random outside stranger from attacking her, when she left the office to walk through the car park.
