How’d they ID him without a typewritten description carried in a newspaper? It’s almost like a photo of him was just fine and that a written description was completely useless. Almost like the idiots demanding every news story focus on the race of the perpetrator are actually racists!

The landlords are exaggerating how hard it is to convert these buildings. Bottom line, they just don’t want to lose money, which is what will happen.

What about office space vacancy rate? A lot of that office space isn't coming back and while its not always ideal to convert, its certainly an option.

You can only put $10,000 in ibonds, so I';d split the baby and put $10,000 in an I-bond and the rest a cd.

80% of people confined to Rikers have not been convicted of a crime, which is absolutely nuts when you realize some of them are there for years.
This case in particular I'll never understand how it can happen in America: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalief_Browder

An indictment of both our prison system and our healthcare system.
"Her husband was taken to jail and received a bail he couldn’t afford. Less than two weeks later, he took his own life.
'I thought that maybe going to jail, he was going to go to some classes, some things for him to reflect on, and it wasn’t like that,' Guamán said. 'What happened was that he died.'"
