Doesn't mean it's bad...just pour it into a pot, skim the mold, boil, and pour back into a jar.

Reply to If you had to pick one restaurant in the greater BTV area which would be your favorite? (Pick 1) Why is it your favorite? Is it the food, atmosphere, people? by thegateway_way
Joyce's in Essex, even though it closed last year. Amazing food at a good price with familiar, friendly waitstaff. Homemade egg rolls, homemade sauces, hand shelled peas...just haven't found that level of quality in another local Chinese restaurant, especially priced at barely more than the generic stuff.
It was my favorite restaurant for over a decade and I'm heartbroken that it's closed. It was the ultimate comfort food.

Happened to multiple people I know....driver stopped on a four-lane road waiting to turn left, oncoming traffic in the lane closest to them stops and waives them through, they get t-boned by a car in the far lane.

"There's nothing behind you! I would have already gone if you hadn't stopped!" I stare until they take their right of way, zooming off in misplaced anger.

So maybe a long-sleeved t-shirt or a raincoat, but I don't remember the last time the weather on Halloween required a winter jacket.

Growing up I wore a winter coat over my Halloween costumes more often than not and usually had snow on my birthday in early December. We had to shovel the roof a few times a year and would tap our small sugar bush on town meeting day.
Now Halloween is usually t-shirt weather, haven't shovelled a roof in almost twenty years, snow on Christmas is 50-50, and if you wait to tap on town meeting day the sugaring season is half over.
I plant my garden two weeks earlier now than I did growing up.

Milk trucks, too. Gotta pick up every day in all weather from awkward barnyards on back roads.
