What I love about this answer is that it properly accounts for all eras. Never heard of police squad and haven't watched scrubs but you clearly know sitcoms so I'll try and check them out.

I'll add some honorable mentions: Frasier, community, the office (overrated at this point, but still), the good place, taxi, and maybe fresh prince

It's a really good traditional sitcom. Seinfeld is the goat traditional sitcom

the office redefined sitcom. Call it sitcom 2.0. modern family was an overrated version of 2.0 while parks might be goat of 2.0. B99 is if you took the sensibilities of parks with the so-so quality of modern family.

The good place and community are their own thing. Unique and awesome.

Ted lasso is kinda it's own thing. Maybe like a modern twist on 1.0.

All they have is old IP. When they launched, they had a superbowl commercial that had a bunch of characters climbing their peak. It included Picard, Beavis and Butthead, Spongebob Squarepants etc.

I mean, they friggin made a TV show about an awesome movie they made in the 70s! It's wild how they are clinging onto past successes.
