I never understood the concept of Canadians somehow being the kings of denim. Sure we wear jeans but every time I've been to the US they wear jeans just as much. Plus I've literally never seen someone wear full denim in my life lol.

Please see a counselor. While it's good the steps you've taken on your own having a third party professionally trained to help you is immeasurably invaluable in dealing with trauma and abuse.
