Used Estes twice. Once to go west and once to come back two years later. They drop the trailer, you fill it. At the destination, they drop the trailer, you unload it. Great experience both times. Professional processes, good customer service on the phone, plenty of email updates. Punctual. No mishaps. You just have to be willing to do the labor.

He was in the printing biz. I suppose that's something to do with making photos, but he even manufactured paper cutters. Look 'em up on Ebay. His familiarity with print production made board games a possible segue.

Statues: Columbus and Crockett

They are called "Discovery" and "Rescue." It would seem that Crockett is not "arresting an indigenous man in front of his family," but rather rescuing a white woman and her baby from an indigenous person who has been cast as the murderous heathen. Seems to me even worse -- not just mastering the First People but teaching a fear of them.

Cheers. I got my first guitar 36 years ago this past summer. I don't have my 89 American anymore but made a Warmoth to my own liking when the pandemic started. If you're interested in Leo via a book that is not ONLY about Leo (and very good), check out "The Birth of Loud." Covers Gibson, too. And the artists that moved the brands along.

Don't know how you feel about used coats, but you can definitely get used wool for under 200. I got a 1960's Johnson Woolen Mill coat off Ebay years back. It's my go-to. Super warm yet breathable and it looks great. Very durable - I split wood, too, and get what you mean about doing real work in your coat. I think the biggest challenge would be aesthetic and whether or not you think it's frumpy.
