Pa checking in with a 7.25 minimum wage too! Feeling the hurt myself, been laid off since late august, with a solid resume, skill set and industry. Apply for about 100 jobs a week. Had my first interviews this month since October…got rejected on one, ghosted on 2 and the 4th decided to not hire for the position…

Honestly, this is probably for the best. The longer it stays in the oven, the longer apple has to add features to the software. Which is a huge deal for VR/AR.

And more importantly it gives devs time to make content, which is by far the most important thing and the biggest problem with VR/AR now.

If you’re a cobol engineer making below $150k you’re doing it very wrong. My previous employer has been looking for a cobol engineer for 2 years, they pay lost people under 100k, this role is up over 200k now.
