Reply to Huge State Police Presence on I-95 S Just Past Belvidere Overpass (Unrelated to Yesterday) by HopocalypseNow
I saw something similar the other day super early morning. This may sound crazy but: I suspect state police may be conducting a series of training exercises for incoming rookies or something. But I'm probably wrong... crime is definitely on the rise here and across the nation.

You'll be fine. I've seen the worst parts of the city (I'm a native) and for the most part if you just mind your business ppl won't give you any serious problems. Yes there are a few mean & crazy ppl... but you find that anywhere. But the vast majority of people are chill. At the end of the day richmond is a fast-growing destination for young families for a reason. Just don't be stupid and don't try to be something that you're not... that's usually when bad things start to happen.

Reply to Do you need to remove bathtub drain first if you’re demolishing it anyway? by Traditional-Ad-5321
I know this wasn't your question but I had success cutting an old bathtub into large sections w an angle grinder. Loud and dusty but made for a QUICK demo.. also no flying shards from sledgehammering. You'll definitely still need to address the plumbing first though. Good luck!
