The Landing and the park at the landing have some good walking areas. Kind of the best all around mix of walking and not walking activities so it's a bit of a go-to. Plus it lends to a bit of sense of security if there's other people around.
Stockstill has some good walking areas as well as creek access if you like to stop and look for pretty walks or get your feet wet a bit (though likely not in january)...as well as it's likely to be a tad more secluded while also not feeling completely isolated.
If you're looking for something more hiking/nature-y there's the trail out where fall creek hits old 76 by Dixie Stampede/Hurts Donuts. It's more physical but its fairly secluded, has lots of beautiful vistas and picture opportunities.
A few other places I've had good talk/walks on are
-From the Landing up Main St (ie past Starbucks up to Dicks 5&10)
-Down the strip pretty much anywhere with decent business/activity.
-That trail by the dam (Dewey Short) out to the marina (good bike spot too).
