I finished My Brilliant Friend, but didn't enjoy it. The first part, about the friend wanting to completely disappear, was the only part I really appreciated.
Have never even attempted Moby Dick, though I should -

Yes! At least in the smaller systems north of Harrisburg - and farther, from what I've heard.
One of my family members moved to from Virginia to Dauphin County to teach this year.
She is happy there, but the system is having a hard time finding teachers.
