The first and fourth seasons of Dexter are amazing, they're on the same level as GoT S1-S4 imo.

Dexter Season 2 is great, but not as incredible as seasons 1 and 4.

Dexter Season 3 is okay. It is not a bad season, but it is not a great season either.

If I had to create a tier list comparing Dexter-GoT seasons, I think it would be something like this:

S: Dexter S1/S4, GoT S1/S2/S3/S4

A: Dexter S2

B: GoT S5/S6

C: Dexter S3, Dexter New Blood

D: Dexter S5/S7, GoT S7

E: Dexter S6, GoT S8

F: Dexter S8

I have already watched many of the most critically acclaimed series finale of all time (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Americans, Mr Robot, The Leftovers, etc)... And SFU final episode is still by far the best series finale I've ever seen.

Lost is a crazy show with an amazing ending. The only problem is that most characters are extremely annoying and unlikeable, especially on the first two seasons.

> I’m a huge fan of his other work ‘the leftovers’ so not getting certain answers isn’t a huge problem, as long as the other aspects of the show deliver.

> Huge fan of mysteries and characters dying suddenly (or any shocking twists and turns etc)

You will certainly love Lost. It is not a masterpiece like The Leftovers, but it is pretty good.

My top 10 best shows of all time:

1st Better Call Saul (AMC)

2nd Breaking Bad (AMC)

3rd Band of Brothers (HBO)

4th Mr Robot (USA Network)

5th The Leftovers (HBO)

6th Chernobyl (HBO, Sky Atlantic)

7th Utopia UK (Channel 4)

8th Veneno (Atresplayer, HBO Max)

9th The Wire (HBO)

10th The Americans (FX)

The least popular shows on this list are Utopia UK and Veneno. But even those two shows are very well praised by most people who watched them.

First of all, I watch only ended shows. So I can binge all seasons instead of waiting several months to watch the next episode. And I don't need to worry about my favorite show getting canceled.

I usually read the synopsis, watch the trailer, read some spoiler-free reviews pointing out good and bad things about the show. Then I watch the show on a streaming service or download it via torrent.

I'm very picky. It's very rare for me to pick a show that I end up not liking. I've only dropped 1 show since 2020, for example (Parks and Recreation).

I came here to mention those three shows + Dickinson, Utopia UK and Tales from the Loop.

Dickinson is the best dramedy I've ever watched. Tales from the Loop is a much slower and more melancholic version of Black Mirror.

And Utopia UK had potential to be praised as one of the greatest shows of all time alongside BrBa/BCS, The Wire and The Sopranos imo, but it was cancelled after two seasons.
