Sorry you’re definitely not criminally liable for everything that happens when you’re a boss? Also assuming infinite responsibility with something outside of your control is both honorable and misguided. I don’t think it’s what anyone wants in a leader.

I think it’s more there was a clear opportunity for golfers to remake the rev share split. With other sports, nba for instance, players don’t have the type of ability to say they’ll go somewhere else because the NBA is such a product outside of just the talent. There’s a relatively stable negotiating platform that understands the value of both sides, and so it’s complex negotiations that essentially split the money between the players and the owners (was 50/50 I think last deal).
Golfers felt like the split between the pga and the players wasn’t right and they could make up on the product side and keep more of the $$ for themselves. LIV was a vehicle to accomplish this. PGA called their bluff because they weren’t worried about someone recreating the product (um the masters? And every major? That’s magic that even non golf lovers get emotional about). Turns out that products really really really hard to recreate

A bit dated? The entire show is based around various technologies that don’t make any sense to kids these days, but that’s what makes a dated show timeless, it leans into that era. That being said there’s stuff around production that are constantly getting affected by tv upgrades so that stuff could to your point date the look and feel

I mean that’s just what’s gonna happen with a scripted show with lots of CGI, you’re just following the playbook. Now take a comedy with improv like always sunny, and you get completely different styles of episodes (w production carryover to keep things looking similar).

It’s Occam’s razor. Social conservatives are scared of drugs and there’s lots of money to be made in keeping drugs illegal. The general principle is don’t waste time on conspiracies when simple linear answers exist.

Lol “incorrect” I’ll be more specific. “This doesn’t disprove anything” when he was very direct in that there’s more evidence to present. Those are different parts of a trial at the most basic of levels, presenting evidence vs suggesting conclusions.

What he wasn’t set out to disprove anything, very simply to add more context to what the internet investigators have suggested. The takeaway of that post was to not make assumptions, yet your takeaway was the opposite.

For sure! Nobody wants their friend to take responsibility for a situation where they did everything they could. It’s somehow right and wrong at the same time in a way I think you understand.
