Yes, you are. Medical debt in this country is a fucking tragedy. Most people go into medical debt to either save their lives or get treatment to prevent a disease from ruining their quality of life.

Chosen services. You're almost as bad as the fucking insurance companies who cause this mess.

Exactly! I switched from Android to iPhone with the 12 mini. It does everything well and Apple is going to support it with software updates for 6+ years. Only thing it might need is a battery in a couple more years. It would be nice to have USB C so my wife and I could share chargers and cords but it's not worth upgrading just for that.

I worked for a while at a local bank in Columbia County in the mortgage department. They originally offered me $12.50 to collect documentation, process mortgage paperwork, and order and review appraisals. Told them I wouldn't do it for less than $15. They hemmed and hawed and tried to make me feel like they were doing me a favor by giving me what I wanted. Even that felt like it was too little. Imagine calling your bank with a question about your mortgage or you're trying to get one setup and you find out the person putting it together for you is making $15/hour.

A lot of folks in these comments are talking about AWD/4WD with all seasons being the equivalent of FWD with snow tires. This isn't the case. AWD/4WD will help you get going when a wheel or two are slipping but having all seasons won't help you when you need it the most - stopping.

Snow tires are made of softer rubber compounds that will stay pliable and grip better in lower temperatures. They also have more siping and water channels that allow for more mechanical grip with snow and ice that all season tires do not have.

Snow tires with AWD/4WD is the best option if you can swing it. If you can't, FWD with snow tires will be the better option.

Another thing to consider is some all terrain tires that are often found/installed on SUVs and trucks are 3 Mountain Snowflake rated. While not the same as being a true snow tire, they will often add significant grip in winter conditions for braking and turning.

Check out your local state forest. I'm near Bald Eagle State Forest and there's dozens upon dozens of miles of logging roads and a bunch of drivable trails with varying levels of ruggedness. I've got an AWD Rav4 with all terrain tires and have found a mix of things my car has handled easily and some things I wouldn't even try without a lift and some bigger tires.
