i’ve had previous iphones before and they don’t scratch as easily as the 14 did. i found out afterwards that they had changed the screen type so it is more crack resistant and more susceptible to scratches. literally only had it in my pockets and on the table a few times it’s got scratches that i can dig my nail in. they used to replace screens with scratches back before they did unlimited replacements. what’s the harm in me getting my screen replaced, learning my lesson and getting a screen protector, and moving on? i’ve talked to their representative and they said it’s perfectly fine for me to intentionally crack it myself and bring it in as they have to follow apple’s guidelines. i’m also paying for applecare like everyone else so I don’t get why i’m in the wrong here
