People just see that you think they are being led like sheep and get defensive.

A little civil discourse goes a long way at attempting to teach the people about complicated concepts like these.

Although you may say things a little straight forward I believe it's from the heart and that matters alot. I also totally agree with most of what you say about opting out of the US currency which has been an actual approach at strangling the power of government during the colonial Era which had some long lasting effects.

I want to read David Graebers 5000 years of debt. Talks about the archeological history of money and the creation of the concept of debt. Last book he wrote before he suddenly died after he landed in Italy.

Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Fucking pissed about this shit also.

Stay cool 😎

I can see this is pretty unpopular but there are elements of the upper elite who believe through generations of education they are ascending into a new breed of super human.

Not kidding either, I have heard billionaires talk about this over there freaking fancy Select sandwiches and ice cold bottled Perrier I was delivering them during board meeting lunches. Or there collection of 28 small production batch sports cars.

Even Obama insinuated something like this. In his A&E biography special, he didn't believe in automatic voter registration, as the majority of the population was not educated enough to make decisions on how to govern the country he said.

Talking about a system of righteous meritocracy where only the most educated and steadfast should and would be able to vote agreeing with a hearty republic of scholars rather than direct voting was preferential, even necessary to maintain America's world dominance. Essentially alluding that campaign finance laws benefitted the country because it kept Joe Shmoe from being a congress member.

Congress is supposed to be average members of society so that the law reflects each states group of constituents.

I supported Obama and even campaigned for him and when is saw his A&E biography my heart just sank because if I had known that's how he felt about me I would never have supported him.

It may sound crazy but there are definitely truths in your philosophical take on how we are being controlled. At least from the investor class people I have met. Also a Google board member called me a peasant during a walkthrough of our company a few years back where they were considering investing.

"Let us not talk about business in front of the peasants please".

In a room full of PHd research scientists and engineers....

U.S. Is Said to Consider Reinstating Detention of Migrant Families

Biden administration promises to end family Detention

Look I know it's uncomfortable but Credit card Biden is not the great guy people always make him out to be. The original child predator guy, attacking inner-city youth violence as his justification for the 3 strikes law. Since then only 13% of the country is african american but over 30% in jail are african americans and less than 67% have been convicted of anything. Average is a 3 year wait for trial. 50% of all charges are for non violent drug offenses. Amazingly has improved more than I realized but still dystopian.

Just watch his justification to let City bank adjust CC interest rates without notifying the card holder. To like 17% a month. After that the credit card debt crisis which had a back bone in the dot com crash but no one talks about.

I watched this on C-span as a kid. Also when he and Hillary took the floor to tell the American people why the democrats needed to support the Iraq war. Bernie and Warren were the only two members who voted against it.

Bidens cabinet in the senate worked with Republicans to draft the patriot act overnight and pass it. How the hell did they even do that things thicker than my microwave. Staffers have said most of that legislation had already been drafted and was ready for deployment. Hillary voted to refund it everytime while Bernie voted no everytime.

Or the fact that Biden and McConnell were best freinds in the senate and ate lunch together every day. I mean come on.

They were never Trumps border policies when he came into office. He just expanded on them and made him his own. Is Said to Consider Reinstating Detention of Migrant Families which will incarcerate children again. I admit I was mistaken here. Things actually changed since 2020.

Biden and Obama and Trump and Kerry and Bush all took money from that company who built the prisons under the Obama administration. Nobody cares. Unless it supports there view.

I must admit when I learned that the expansion of the border prisons had happened under Obama who had the largest number of deportations that year not to mention imprisoned journalists. I felt sick and lost. I've seen the ice cops out here man just ridiculous. Plain clothes driving Hondas. Just off. Seen those guys handcuffing kids myself.

Republicans suck. These days really suck but if you're just going to give the people in office unchecked unobstructed power when it's your team in office they will take advantage of you. Even if you don't believe it. They are all working for The corporate donor classes interest.

*edit for prison data. *children separation may begin again mistakenly I meant family Detention which still puts kids in jail

Discovered this when i worked at the liquor store one of my coworkers would play music on his zune and helped me to discover kyuss, megadeath, parliament, Ohio players, system, and so many other great bands. I was like listening to pink floyd, the drifters beck and nirvana pretty much religiously before that. Kyuss changed my whole perspective on metal. Better than the QOTSA I had heard on the radio back then. Th whole thing about some guy told kyuss their like the queens of the stone age and they just adopted it. Funny.
