Reply to Drugs & alcohol aside, Amy Winehouse was an awkward live performer by The-Unmentionable
Amy was awkward and lovable. Damaged but kind. Her voice got her to fame, but her pain informed her art and that includes her discomfort with performances. Seeing her on stage sober despite that made me love her more. That was a challenge and she did it anyway.
In a variety of interviews you can see she had low self esteem. Amy was exploited like a cash cow and her story gives me a visceral reaction every time I think of her.

Iām gonna get downvoted to hell, but the Car by the Arctic Monkeys.
Many would say ālisten to it againā, āyou donāt have evolved tasteā, or ābands arenāt supposed to stay the sameā. Yeah, I get that. All for evolution of a band but that album is a slow, shell of what I loved about the Arctic Monkeys.
I definitely recognize when an album isnāt for me even when I still love the artist. Iāll be waiting for the day they put out an album that has more energy.

That movie to me is one of the saddest of all time. Makes me cry like a little bitch š
