Reply to Anyone at Hadestown at PPAC last night? We were in the Loge, found it hard to understand what was being said/sung, and at intermission, everyone pulled out there phones to figure out what was going on. by quinnkurk
We went on Thursday evening and it seemed like there was an issue with the microphones, especially Orpheus' mic. Really frustrating given the cost of the tickets!

People have always traded and often had items that had symbolic value that could be used as money. Capitalism, however, was an invention of just a few hundred years ago in one particular region. It is not universal, it is not that old, and there are many other ways of organizing a society.

I do think it's a bit picky. If you have some leather conditioner/cleaner, I wonder if giving the tag a thorough rub down would both ease some of the wrinkles and clear the dye stain?

Ellen McNally at PVD Chiropractic is great. She's certified in active release techniques and specializes in treatment for athletes, so she's not a "woo woo" chiropractor. She'll also assign you physical therapy exercises and stretches.

I think Costco may do vision exams? Regardless, go somewhere cheap for the exam and then buy the glasses from Zenni or similar, NOT from a brick-and-mortar store.

Lots of people make really bad decisions for themselves at various points in their lives. But people who start out wealthier, with a stable family and support system, access to education and healthcare (including mental healthcare), are far more likely to be able to recover from those mistakes without serious consequences.

Also, the rapid tests are no longer able to catch most COVID infections of the new strains unless someone is really, really churning out the virus. Passing a single rapid test that was only swapped in the nose doesn't mean you don't have COVID.

There is a serious shortage of affordable housing that has only worsened over the last two years. 30% of the single-family home stock in this country has been bought up by corporations. There are going to be far more unhoused people in the coming years unless we start regulating this.

I had a UTI a few months ago and also don't have insurance. I made a tele-health appointment with CVS for the same day, got an Rx, and had my meds within two hours. It cost something like $80.
