It’s not a nazi camp, and there many amazing teachers. Just because the school board is a bunch of losers doesn’t mean the whole district of teachers suck. Yes, the school board sucks and there is so much wrong doing on the choices they make. My kids, are getting an amazing education and their needs are being met. Other school districts in the area couldn’t even come close to being able to give us the help on what my kiddo needed. CBSD did.

Finger Lakes region, mystic seaport area, Chesapeake Bay Area. Someone mentioned St. Michaels, such a charming area. Cape may is amazing in off season, especially in the fall. Avalon is nice. Find a place between Harrisburg and state college and combine them. It’s a beautiful drive, and fit in penns cave, there are other caves out that way. Niagara Falls might be slightly over 4 hours, but worth it.

I lived in the hbg area for a few years and loved it. I know the Pitt area and burbs well. I seriously would look at renting until you get a feel for the area. Did I see you comment you would be in the new area for 2 years? Why buy if your going to be there for 2 years?!. Pick what works for you and what amenities you like. Hbg has great hiking near by, smaller city. Pitt is a great city with a lot to offer if you enjoy that. Rent, get a feel for area, if you plan to stay for about 10+ years then start to look for house. I’m the rental phase. You can talk to coworkers to get a feel for different areas.
