Tolerated across the whole city. Certain places definitely get a worse case of it. Boylston going through Fenway always feels like a 1 lane road rather than 2

Totally agree. State control of the ability to open businesses in Boston is a major barrier to opening a restaurant outside of the neighborhoods already really built up

There was an article posted here the other day about alcohol licenses, and it mentioned that 4 have been approved for being in Nubian Square.
If they get a spate of new restaurants, I'll definitely go check out the area. There some cool architecture there, and I'd love to have a new place to visit in the city.

I bet Mass Health is using a third party, and they think you still live there. I had a friend who had a tough time because Sales Force thought someone else was in the deed. Then they kept getting bounced out of Mass State programs to help homeowners because the verification process kept incorrectly showing a different home owner

My suspicion has always been that this must be somewhat intentional. That somehow this part of Dorchester pushed back against the T at some point long ago (this is my complete guess)

If you file for eviction it will.have consequences. He'll find it very hard to find a new apartment if he has an eviction on his record.
It just, unfortunately, won't be satisfying for you because you won't see him experience the consequences of his actions

A major renovation for Franklin park is in the works. I have no idea where to find it, but I pretty sure a master plan had been released

There was a temporary disc golf course at the beginning of COVID. I don't know why it came out without a plan for a more permanent one. Maybe there is a plan and I just don't know it
I don't value golf at all. So I agree that the space is pretty wasteful

The seaport Boston location is smaller than some.of their other spots. It would be fine for kids but at busy bar times it's real busy. The one by Blue Hills should have a playground because it's so packed with families.
Y'all saying that places that serve alcohol around kids must have missed the last 10+ years of craft brewery experiences. Relatedly, one of the coolest parts of Germany is finding the park-like beer gardens on a Saturday afternoon and just hanging with all the families.
