What cut are you using?
If you get the chance get cheek. It was made for this dish, but can be hard to find in many places.

BS. Locks are for honest people.
Your key is a chunk of metal, what is it doing in your lock that his whole toolbox is incapable of doing?

Reply to comment by itg85 in New hinges on old wardrobe hit frame when opening door. Do i need to chamfer them? by itg85
That's where the wood fill and paint come in. ;)
If you've got a steady hand 30 seconds with a hand planer, or 2 minutes with a sharp chisel. If you don't 10 minutes with sandpaper and a block. Correct your errors with the wood fill, sand it true and then paint.

What's wrong with the old hinges? I assume they worked. Can't they be cleaned? Might be easier than trying to find new ones.
As someone said on the other post planing might be easiest. Since it's painted you don't have to worry too much about the finish, any gouges or unevenness can be covered by wood fill. Would also help balance the gap.

Reply to How do I resolve a ceiling fan and light fixture that are controlled by same switches. by Madams135
Gu10 bulbs are available as smart bulbs. Ikea and hue both have offerings.
I have odd switches in one of my rooms too. I bypassed the switch and stuck a hue remote next to it. Comes with double sided tape for easy mounting. Controls 3 different lights in 3 different fixtures.
