that attitude is how most other neighborhoods operate, but in places like sobo / fed and canton, it is more about not having a parking space to return to if you leave.

i don't know the vibe you are looking for with your establishment, but check out bar licorice (no longer open) - was one of the more artsy establishments in the neighborhood and got plenty of suggestions from people but never seemed to get enough business. i wish it was still open because it was a unique spot that also stood out in the area - but from a business standpoint it makes sense considering the neighborhood demographics.

glad you found it helpful, i really dont want to be overly negative but just wanted to provide my 2 cents. reading your other comment about it being related to art, i think you would be much better served looking at something more convenient to MICA (which as a bonus will have much better parking options and probably be cheaper than a place on fort ave)

i think it would be a huge issue, ive been in the city for over a decade.

its been 7 years or so since i moved from fed hill to hampden. i can say that an activity in sobo feels pretty much off limits due to parking, but i will still go to a friends house it just requires extra planning or effort.

during my own time in fed, friends and acquaintances from other areas of the city would commonly make jokes about how isolated south baltimore residents can be due to not leaving the surrounding area (both out of comfort because you dont need to, and habit due to parking).

i appreciate the input here - i know reddit to be a place that usually leans towards doing things the right way and to not pull punches, so i wanted to make sure i wasnt being irresponsible by leaving the permit issue alone.

it sounds like i can get the bedroom / bathroom listing updated without dealing with the permit issue which seems like my best option

yeah this was the place i checked for permits - and im basing the 3br 1 bath on the tax record with the city, thats also what it shows on MLS because it pulls from the same place. at this point based on previous comments my biggest concern is getting that rectified and not necessarily worrying about the permits at this point.

i guess im just assuming that not everything would pass a full inspection if i called the city in - nothing stands out, im just preparing for what could happen if that makes any sense.

i did check and permits were pulled for some repair work to the front porch as well as to repipe the entire house but not for the things i described above.

like half of my monthly charge is an infrastructure fee for the meter, my bills used to be similar, from $100 a quarter ish for almost forever give or take, to $100 a month.

sounds like maybe he thought it was an error and got distracted campaigning, paid it as soon as the article came out.

on the other hand, its insane that the democratic party in such a wealthy blue state produced a guy who lied about being from baltimore and also cant seem to keep up with his bills. the bar is so low.

blue no matter who though, ill take stupid over evil every day of the week and twice on sundays.
