I lived on 163 in my 30’s. So good. I once drove to 163 to get 2 subs while living in Allston. Parked in front of a fire hydrant for the 4 minutes it took me to get a cold cut combo and a beef sando for $13 total. Came out to a $100 parking ticket…
…still the best sandwiches for $56.50 each I’ve ever spent.

Reply to Boston could be first municipality to require stores, restaurants, and hotels to donate leftover food by uxd
I’ve run restaurants for 20 years. NYC, Vegas and now Boston. THERE IS SO MUCH LEFTOVER FOOD!!!! It’s always been because of health code violations.
In Vegas at one of the major casinos we finally started separating food waste to send to local farms for animal feed.
We always have bread and some simple ingredients left over from service and especially a Private Event.
Regulating this will be a nightmare. Why not concentrate on the T and rent first?

Reply to Boston is such a lonely place. by [deleted]
This city is SOOOOOOOOO fickle. It is impossible to meet people. 80% of them are local and/or established. If you don’t hang with co-workers or grew up around the 128 belt good luck.
Move 600 miles away and start a better life.

Reply to Headlights when driving by Traditional-Oil7281
It’s both. SUVs/Pickup Trucks will blind you in a Civic. Also if you have one headlight blown you can put on your brights. it’s back to two that way.
I recommend getting your back windshield tinted to 30%. That’s the legal limit and it helps SSSSOOOOOOO much when night driving.

I disagree. I’m in Woburn and am only 5 mins from the Mall, Wegman’s and Row 34.

You need a car. This is the suburbs. I live in Woburn. Public transportation sucks here.
