Thanks! It is mind blowing to me the amount of 55+ housing and lack of all other housing!

Sorry I am from from very south Jersey so my idea of north Jersey probably goes a little more South. My job is not located that far north. Edison is the same driving distance as my job as Toms River due to the fact my job is around Long Branch.

I’m not really in north north Jersey. I’m working along the coast. Toms River is just as far for me as Edison and a lot of their bigger N. Jersey towns. I did look bc I have some friends up there but the housing is more expensive and it’s not a shorter commute and even more congested.

Sorry but I’m not going on Craigslist/Facebook ect looking a for a stranger to live w/. Also edison is just as far from my job as Toms River and more expensive than central Jersey so no. My current roommate is someone I’ve know for years and actually want to live w/.

I would actually love to be able to pull faking being old off bc it would save me so much money. For real the houses in the 55+ older communities are SUCH a good price and there’s so many of them listed, like probably upwards of 50 listings I could find so far for rent. It’s almost a shame that they don’t let younger folks rent.

Unfortunately even tho long branch is really close to my job, it’s too far from my roommates job and I could barely afford a studio in long branch on my own.
